  • You will be picked up from your hotel in Izmir at around 17:30.
  • Transfer to the Izmir Bus station. The bus will leave Istanbul at 7:00 pm.
  • The bus will have three stops for breaks while en route for personal needs.
  • The Turkish buses have ample leg room and recline. An HD flat-screen monitor, a USB charger that powers-smart devices, and a headphone jack. Sometimes some bus has free wifi. Turkish buses will redefine your perspective of traveling via overnight long-distance buses. It is pretty decked out and styled!

Day 02: Full Day Cappadocia Green Tour-Fly back to Izmir

  • Once the Cappadocia tour comes to the end, transfer to the Urgup Bus station. Overnight bus to Izmir at 9:00 pm. Arrive in Izmir at 07:00-07:30 am.
  • On the way back to Izmir, we do not transfer to your hotel as there are changes in traffic, parking, and bus arrival times.
  • When you arrive in Izmir, you can take the free shuttle bus to Basmane or Cumhuriyet Meydani. The free shuttle service is provided by the local bus company, not by us therefore you can choose to take the shuttle bus to Konak or Alsancak.
  • Either way, these arrangements are your responsibility as we will not be making any transfer arrangements after your return to Istanbul.

Day 01: Overnight bus to Cappadocia

Arrive at Nevsehir bus station at about 07:00 am, then the shuttle bus will take you to Urgup. You will meet your guide in Urgup. The Cappadocia tour start at 09:30 am.

Our tour will start in Devrent Valley, where you can see many different rock formations and small fairy chimneys that form a lunar landscape with their strange look. After a short walk in this impressive valley, our tour will continue to Pasabagi (Monk's Valley), where the most striking fairy chimneys are in Cappadocia with twin and triple rock caps.

These shapes are unique for Cappadocia and are named mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys. After visiting Pasabagi, we will drive to Avanos, famous for the pottery craft dating back to the Hittite period. Red color clay comes from the residue of the longest river in Turkey called Kizilirmak (Red River). In one of the pottery shops, you will be able to watch the demonstration of making pottery or try to do it yourself.

We will give a break to our tour for lunch in a local restaurant to taste the various kinds of Turkish cuisine. After lunch, our destination will be Goreme Open Air Museum. Churches, chapels, and monasteries were carved into the fairy chimneys from the 10th to 13th centuries A.D. It will be the highlight of the day with frescos painted on the walls.

You will be able to take pictures to carry the moments for your future memories. Apple, Dark, Snake, St. Barbara, and St. Helen; are the most famous churches in the Goreme museum. End of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight and dinner in the hotel.

Day 02: Optional Hot Air Ballon Tour- Cappadocia Tour- Fly Back to Izmir

You will also have the chance to join the Hot Air Balloon Ride experience, famous for its sunrise. After picking you up from your hotel, our tour will start from the icon of Cappadocia, the fairy chimneys shaped like a family; father, mother, and a daughter called Three Beauties. It is exciting to take pictures of these fairy chimneys with the valley in the background in the early lights of the morning.

Ihlara Valley, The township is famed for the nearby valley of the same name, Ihlara Valley, which is a 16 km (10 mi) long gorge cut into volcanic rock in the southern part of Cappadocia, following several eruptions of Mount Erciyes. Through the valley flows Stream.

What is unique about this valley is the ancient history of its inhabitants. The whole canyon is honeycombed with rock-cut underground dwellings and churches from the Byzantine period. Due that the richness of the watering possibility and its hidden form and easy-to-hide structure it was the first settlement place of the first Christians escaping from the Roman soldiers.

In the Ihlara Valley, there are hundreds of antic churches caved in the volcanic rocks. The most known churches are Agacalti Church with a cross plan, Sumbullu Church, Purenliseki Church, Kokar Church, Yilanli Church, Karagedik Church, Kirkdamatli Church, Direkli Church, Ala Church, Kemerli Church, Egritas Church. We will give a break to our tour for lunch in a local restaurant to taste the various kinds of Turkish cuisine.

After lunch, we will drive to the second biggest underground city of Cappadocia, Kaymakli or Derinkuyu Underground City. This is a great opportunity to take pictures in one of the biggest underground cities in Cappadocia. Now it is time to catch some part of the sunset in the panoramic Pigeon Valley hosting countless pigeons in natural pigeon houses. These pigeons contribute to the living of locals with their manure to fertilize the vineyards.

You will have ample time to take pictures before transferring to the Urgup Bus station. Overnight bus to Izmir at 21:00 pm.
