Good morning! Get ready for an exciting day as you'll be picked up from your hotel or designated pick-up point at 8:30 AM. A comfortable and luxurious air-conditioned, non-smoking shuttle bus is waiting for you. Along the way, we’ll make two stops to take a breather and stretch our legs.
By around 1 PM, we'll arrive at the historic grounds of Gallipoli. Our first stop is the Gallipoli Battlefields, where you'll get to explore the Kabatepe Epic Promotion Centre, also known as the War Museum. It's an excellent way to start understanding the immense history of this area.
Next, we pay our respects at John Simpson’s grave in Beach Cemetery. John Simpson, an iconic figure in the Dardanelles War, is especially revered among Australians. We'll then visit Anzac Cove, the famous landing site for the Anzac troops during the battle, which later became their main base.
As our journey continues, prepare to step back in time as we visit several other significant landmarks:
- Ari Burnu
- Lone Pine Cemetery
- Turkish Memorial
- Johnston’s Jolly
- Shrapnel Valley
- The Nek
- Walker’s Ridge
- Chunuk Bair
Our tour is packed with history, and it will come to a close by 2:00 PM. Following that, you’ll have a free afternoon to relax and explore more at your leisure. The day will wrap up with an overnight stay in the charming city of Çanakkale. Enjoy your historical adventure and have a restful night!
